Dr. Harald Hasselmann appointed new CEO for Mick Radio-Nuclear Instruments, Inc.

Seneffe, Belgium, July 25, 2016, Eckert & Ziegler BEBIG announces the appointment of Dr. Harald Hasselmann as Chief Executive Office (CEO) of Mick Radio-Nuclear Instruments, Inc. in Mount Vernon (NY), USA. He will serve the Eckert & Ziegler BEBIG subsidiary company along with its President, Dr. Edgar Löffler.

It has also been decided to restructure the U.S. business using the well-established branding of Mick Radio-Nuclear Instruments, Inc. for the U.S. market. As a result, all business activities will be carried out solely by Mick Radio-Nuclear Instruments, Inc. This includes the Eckert & Ziegler BEBIG, Inc. sales and service business for HDR brachytherapy. To date, two SagiNova® HDR afterloading systems have been installed in the USA with a third one on its way. SagiNova® was launched in April 2015 as the successor of MultiSource® which has so far been delivered to more than 250 clinics worldwide.
